Wild Kindy & Wild Play Homeschool Programs

🗓 Weekly, plus holiday workshops

What is it?

Wild Kindy and Wild Play offer nature-based learning across two Sydney locations, with bushcraft, fire and camp cooking, botanical tie-dye and seasonal outdoor experiences. It's learning through doing, outdoors, in all weather and every season.

Who is it for?

Families with children from preschool age up to about 12 who love being outside — and parents drawn to a slower, more seasonal way of learning.

Beginner friendly?

Yes. Everything is taught from scratch, including the bushcraft skills.

What do children usually do?

Children learn practical outdoor skills — building, cooking on a fire, working with natural materials, dyeing with plants — alongside free play and seasonal exploration.

What should parents expect?

Expect a hands-on, weather-embracing program with real skills and plenty of freedom. Weekly sessions run through the term, with extra workshops during the holidays if you'd like more.

Why Homeschool Link recommends it

There's something grounding about children learning to cook on a fire or dye cloth with plants they've gathered. Programs like this build practical confidence that's hard to teach at the kitchen table — and children remember it for years.

Why families appreciate it

Families appreciate the seasonal rhythm and the way children come home with real skills, not just craft to put on the fridge.
